Erin Marvasti for Hollywood District 5 Commissioner

My name is Erin Marvasti, and I'm a candidate for Hollywood District 5 Commissioner. I bring a deep, long-standing connection to this community that sets me apart. I am a homeowner and small business owner in District 5, and I have lived in Hollywood for more than 20 years. I am raising my family here, fully rooted in the daily life of this community. I am the mother of 3 beautiful children "soccer mom" and active community member. I shop local, support our neighborhood businesses, and rely on the same city services as my neighbors. This is not a recent connection for me or a temporary presence. It is where I have built my life, my home, and my commitment to service.
If you are reading this, I want you to know how much I appreciate you doing your research and visiting my website to determine which candidate you feel would best represent your interests. I would be humbled and honored to earn your support and vote for the November 3rd election. I welcome you to attend any of our upcoming events. Please reach out to me directly by phone or on social media @erinforhollywood. You may vote by mail, early vote or on Election Day on November 3rd. I am humbly asking for your vote.

About Erin
A Neighbor Who Will Advocate for US
Residents deserve strong, consistent representation on the City Commission. Each district has its own needs, and City Hall decisions should reflect the people who live here. While many take interest in local elections, each district is best served when its commissioner is focused on listening and advocating for their own community. I am committed to ensuring District 5 voices are heard and that our local priorities remain at the center of every decision impacting our neighborhoods.
My long-time commitment to our neighborhoods has allowed me to meet many neighbors and local business owners, building lasting relationships through community events. Over the years, I’ve also helped organize efforts like Basket of Blessings, the Mother’s Day Brunch, and Salsafest West’s Three Kings Day toy distribution, all because I believe community is built one connection at a time.
If elected, I will make sure communication stays open, I will remain present in our community, and I will advocate for fair city investment in our neighborhoods.
The Issues
Erin's Priorities: Top 5 for D5
District 5 is a strong and diverse community of neighbors who care deeply about our area and its future, including long time residents, residents who chose Hollywood as their home, seniors, veterans, young families, and families. Many have shared that our area has not always received consistent attention and investment compared to other parts of the city. Erin is focused on changing that through steady presence, real follow through, and results neighbors can see in their daily lives. Erin's policy platform is built on conversations with District 5 residents. These are our issues, and she'll champion them at City Hall.
